First aid is imperative if you may be the first person attending at an accident,

While being a First Aider doesn’t come with the depth of knowledge of a paramedic, administering first aid can mean life or death to someone injured.

Our First Aid

You can complete the theory online, from the comfort of your home. But this doesn’t mean it is easier. There is effort required in a face-2-face class, there is effort required if you are learning from your favourite armchair.

Don’t worry if you need assistance along the way. We may not be physically with you, but we are at the end of the phone and email to support you.

Asking questions is important in learning, especially when completing a course online. Jackie says, “Don’t sit and stew or fret, as soon as you are stuck pick up the phone or shoot us an email. We will get back to you on the same day 99% of the time. Meanwhile, you can move on to the next section.”

“Alternatively, skip the questions you are not sure of, make a note of them, and contact us at the end.” She goes on to say, “Easy peasy! Learning must not be a struggle for students and that is where we come in.”

What do you learn?

First aid training covers a wide range of topics including CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), AED (automated external defibrillator) use, and treatment for burns and wounds. The course also teaches participants how to deal with medical emergencies such as choking or bleeding injuries as well as dealing with unconsciousness caused by head injuries or fainting spells.
