Here is our next presenter. Our nationwide launch of the Emergency Preparedness Workshops is drawing nearer.
Emergency Preparedness Meet the Facilitators: Margie Robertson
I’m incredibly lucky to live so close to the Great Barrier Reef & to be able to go sailing almost every weekend. The local waters between Dunk Island & Lizard Island offer excellent anchorages as well as snorkeling & spearfishing. Extended cruising in Papua New Guinea & Indonesia has been both challenging & enjoyable, & given me a yearning to explore the South Pacific nations.
Sailing history:- Qld coast from Gladstone to Thursday Island & Gulf of Carpentaria, across to Gove & Darwin, East Timor, Indonesia as far west as Lombok
Papua New Guinea right up to New Hanover at 2nd parallel, east to Buka and through the Louisiades
Langkawi (Malaysia) to Phuket (Thailand)
I’ve even sailed a felucca on the River Nile in Egypt!
Margie and her husband have lots of bluewater experience and a big passion for everything boating. Margie is a great presenter and working hard to create an incredible Workshop in Cairns on 26th February.
