The Goal

The goal of the course is to think about the reality of the day-to-day running of your boat, and preventing and preparing for emergencies. It will ask you to think about your initial reactions in emergency situations, and the tasks that will give you the best chance of survival.
This course is hands-on, by the end of the workshop you will have the Emergency Procedure section for your Safety Management System well underway.
You will feel prepared and far more relaxed on the water. You will have concise, appropriate, useful notes and information to give to new crew/visitors so they are equipped should the worst happen.
The paperwork preparation is all done for you when you attend our Workshops

Although this course is theory-driven, it is interactive. You will be faced with a number of scenarios, and you will write the first tasks that come to mind that you would do.

You will apply that information to short templates, allowing you to expand on your thoughts and create processes in a few easy steps.

At the very least, this will motivate you to think about situations your abilities, and your equipment.

We’ve made it easy for you with templates and handouts, just follow the simple instructions. Quickly and easily, you will soon have a small handbook, clear thoughts, and procedures.
