*For the Navigation course, you will need Chart AUS252 and a Navigation Tool Set: (Brass Dividers, Portland Plotter (or parallel rulers), Pencil Compass). Bring your own or purchase from us (we recommend Portland Plotters over Parallel Rulers).

3) Navigation Course $249 (1 day), Includes:

4) Radio Licence Course (VHF/HF) $250
1 day of training, revision, practical practice, written assessment, practical assessment
(Radio Handbooks $45 and Admin fee payable directly to Office of Maritime Communications $89)

Important Information:
Radio: We order the Radio Assessments from the OMC, so please register early. There is an option to complete the assessment via zoom and electronic assessment at a later date for an additional admin fee ($59.99)

Navigation: This course is hands-on, so please ensure you have good tools to carry out the work, plus 2B  pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and notebooks. If you would like to complete the Qualification there are Assignments (both practical and theory) to complete. The final theory assessment will take place via Zoom on 22nd August 0900-1200 or 25th August 1600-1900 (includes revision if required/requested.) You will be required to submit video/written evidence of the practical elements ($99 per person for the full assessment process (practical/theory) leading to qualification on successful application.
