Is This Course for me?

This course is not suitable for beginners — candidates must have prior boating experience and be prepared to commit to home study in addition to attending training days. Earning a Master ticket is a significant undertaking that requires dedication, both academically and practically, and comes with serious responsibilities on the water. There are also AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) requirements, including documented sea time — it is your responsibility to ensure you meet these. Full details can be found here: https://www.amsa.gov.au. If you’re considering this pathway, it’s essential to understand what’s involved. Please call Jackie on 0458 391 660 to discuss your suitability and any questions you may have.
