Over the past seven years, I’ve built my business single-handedly, bringing essential First Aid training (and other courses) to the Bega Valley. It hasn’t always been easy, but the support from local businesses and the community has been incredible.
Local Bega Business Support & A Mysterious Sabotage?
Lately, my First Aid posters on Carp Street noticeboards have been torn down five times. Funny how my other training posters (and everyone else’s) stay put. This is the first time I’ve felt deliberately targeted, and honestly, it’s odd.
I’ve never faced hostility before. Even my competitors —up until now—have been supportive and professional. But despite the noise, I’m standing firm because First Aid training matters.
But There is Good News for Bega Valley Businesses
I’ve been overwhelmed with the assistance from local businesses who have offered to put my posters up in their windows. Bega Valley is a fantastic community, so here’s what I am doing:
- All businesses that share my info/put up my posters get my support in return – discounts – or however else I can help
- All Not for Profits and Volunteers receive additional discounts.
I love my community – let’s continue to support eachother.
