Onboard Pyewacket II (which we purchased in San Francisco). We had spent 8 months in Ecuador and were heading to Panama to collect new sails and get ready to launch into the Pacific Ocean crossing. En route to Panama we were hit with wild weather and diverted to Western Panama. This was somewhere we hadn’t considered visiting and what followed was the most delightful week with a completely protected, stunning anchorage, with not a soul in sight!
